It is known that Aspirational District is an initiative started by the Government of India which aims to rapidly develop the most backward and least developed districts of the country. These districts have been specially selected to improve socio-economic indicators and the government has implemented various schemes and programs to promote development in these districts. Collector Vinay Kumar Langeh has congratulated the entire team for this important achievement and said that continuous work will be done for 100 percent saturation of the indicator. The remaining indicator will be completed within the time limit. He has praised the work done under the leadership of District Nodal Officer S Alok and congratulated him.

It is known that the Aspirational District Program was started by NITI Aayog in the year 2018. The main goal of this program is to improve the quality of life in 112 aspiring districts, each of which has certain socio-economic weaknesses. The focus is on improving areas such as health, nutrition, education, agriculture, water resources, financial inclusion and infrastructure in these districts. The program aims to accelerate development in these districts and help them catch up with the rest of the country. The program also encourages districts to develop and replicate best practices that promote improvement in socio-economic issues. Along with aspiring districts, the Aspiring Block Program has also been launched, which aims to promote development in 500 blocks. This program is based on the success of the Aspiring District Program, which has positively impacted the lives of more than 25 crore people in 112 districts. Our Mahasamund district is also among these districts. Today we have completed 100 percent work in these indicators, for which the officers / employees of the district were honored.
