Ludhiana: Yuvraj Goyal, the 28-year-old only son, was shot dead in Surrey, British Columbia on June 7. The family is inconsolable and the parents are not in a position to talk. According to the Canadian police, some family friends said it was a case of “mistaken identity”.
Yuvraj was talking to his mother on the phone while returning from the gym. As soon as he reached the parking lot of his house, he disconnected the call. According to the police, after some time someone asked him if he lived in that particular building. As soon as he said ‘yes’, six bullets were fired at him, following which he died. Police officials claim that the phone recording was on, which helped them know what happened at the scene.
