Bemetra. Once again a factory by the name of Bhavya Srishti Udyog is operating in Kathia Kiritpur of the district where a massive fire broke out late in the night. There was a loss of more than crores of rupees in the fire and two vehicles were also burnt to ashes. The fire spread uncontrollably, due to which the factory workers had to evacuate from there.
Seeing the fire getting out of control, the fire brigade was immediately called. But by then the fire had spread to most of the factory.
Construction of bamboo crash barriers and boundary wall poles takes place here. The loss is estimated to be around Rs 12 crores in which stock worth crores was burnt to ashes. A fire brigade vehicle arrived from Bemetara, which prevented much of the fire from spreading and helped in extinguishing the fire throughout the night. 40-50 people from Bemetara and surrounding areas tried to extinguish the fire in their area.
In which the manufactured stock of crash barriers worth crores, fencing poles, a car, DI, bike, new office set up inside the factory, machinery and shed etc. were burnt to ashes. About 70% of the factory and more than 90% of the materials were burnt to ashes. The factory operator told that he got cooperation from the government administration, but due to late arrival of fire brigade vehicles could not save the loss.
