Lormi should become a model in bringing development works and government schemes to the people: Arun Sao

Raipur: Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao reviewed the progress of development works and implementation of government schemes by holding a meeting of block and tehsil level officials of Lormi in Raipur. He told the officials in the meeting that I am also a part of your team for the development of Lormi and to make the citizens there happy. Together we will develop the area rapidly and fulfill the public aspirations. We all have to work together to make Lormi an example in the state in bringing development works and government schemes to the people.

Deputy Chief Minister Sao said in the meeting that we all have to solve the problems of Lormi together. Facilities have to be provided to the people of the area. He told the officials to prepare new action plans for the people of Lormi and implement them seriously. As a public servant, he asked to behave well with the citizens and resolve their problems promptly. He appealed to all the officials to make their identity with good work. Increase the reputation of your department and yourself. Other development blocks and tehsils should follow the work being done in Lormi, do such work.

Deputy Chief Minister Saw reviewed the work of all the departments including the law and order situation in Lormi area in the meeting and gave necessary instructions to the officials. He asked the Chief Municipal Officer of Lormi to develop facilities in the city as per the municipality. He directed the electricity department officials to provide adequate electricity in the area for irrigation and domestic use.

Deputy Chief Minister Saw asked the District Food Officer to store adequate ration in Achanakmar area during the rainy days. He also instructed to increase the number of PDS shops as well as check the arrangements of all the shops.

Deputy Chief Minister Saw directed the officials of the Labor Department to widely publicize the departmental schemes. He asked to organize camps for registration of workers of organized sector and unorganized sector and to give information about the schemes. He also asked to give information about the schemes of other departments to the workers in these camps.

Deputy Chief Minister Saw directed to provide the required information to the people by setting up a help-desk in the Janpad Panchayat office.

CEO of Mungeli District Panchayat Prabhakar Pandey, SDM G.L. Yadav, Tehsildar Shekhar Patel, SDOP Madhuri Dhirahi, CEO of Janpad Panchayat Chandrakumar Dhrtlahare, Chief Municipal Officer Lalji Chandrakar, BMO Dr. G.S. Dau and BEO D.S. Rajput along with officials of all departments were present in the meeting.
