Lord Krishna’s idol was broken in Raipur, Hindu community showed anger

Raipur. Anti-social elements have vandalized the idol of Lord Krishna and the Govardhan mountain in Farhada village of Kharora in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. There is anger among the local villagers after the incident. They are demanding the arrest of the culprits. The incident is being reported on Sunday evening. According to the information, anti-social elements have broken the idol with a big stone. Due to which the head of Lord Krishna disappeared. In view of the anger of the villagers, more than 50 policemen were deployed at night itself. So that peace remains in the village.

As soon as the information about the breaking of the idol spread in the village, a large number of villagers gathered and continued to protest late at night. During this time the police kept explaining to the crowd. But the angry villagers also raised slogans against the police administration. The villagers demanded that strict action be taken against those who broke the idol. The police have assured to take action against the anti-social elements as soon as possible. After which the people ended the protest. At present the police is investigating the whole matter.
