Hyderabad: International technology services firm Lytus Technology Holdings Pvt Ltd has acquired a majority stake in Hyderabad-based Shree Sai Cable and Broadband Pvt Ltd, listed on NASDAQ. With the intention of achieving a stable position in the domestic market, it has acquired 51 percent stake in Shree Sai Cable, a Multi Service Operator (MSO) providing services in Telangana. Financial details have not been disclosed. Presently Sri Sai Cable has ten lakh customers. Lytus Technology, which has entered the Telangana market, is planning to expand to Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Kerala in the future. There are 6,500 regional cable operators under Shree Sai Cable.
