Liquor businessman shot dead in Sonipat, Haryana

Chandigarh: A liquor businessman was shot dead in a car on National Highway-44 in Murthal of Sonipat district of Haryana on Sunday morning.

Police said the attackers fired at least 30 bullets at the businessman from close range near Gulshan Dhaba.

The deceased has been identified as Sunder Malik of Sargathal village of Gohana. He was currently living in Sonipat.

Earlier, on February 25, Rathi and party worker Jai Kishan were killed after firing several rounds at the vehicle of INLD Haryana chief Nafe Singh Rathi in Bahadurgarh in Jhajjar district of the state. Police had said that two people have been arrested from Goa in the case.
