Linking Vijay’s Delhi visit to a BJP alliance is incorrect: Naina Nagendran

Tamil Nadu: BJP leader Naina Nagendran stated that it is inappropriate to link ThaveKa leader Vijay’s visit to Delhi—undertaken for a CBI inquiry—with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Speaking to reporters in Chennai on Saturday, she further added: “The people of Tamil Nadu wish to oust the DMK-led government in the upcoming Assembly elections. Therefore, the upcoming polls will be a contest between ‘dynastic politics’ and the people of Tamil Nadu.”

The law and order situation in Tamil Nadu has deteriorated. Crimes against women are on the rise, and narcotics are openly available. The DMK government has taken no steps to curb this.

“I do not know whether ThaveKa will join the National Democratic Alliance or not. Vijay has gone to Delhi for a hearing regarding the Karur stampede case. This is not the first time he has visited Delhi.” Consequently, she asserted that it is incorrect to draw a connection between his visit to Delhi and the National Democratic Alliance.
