Rajnandgaon. The court has sentenced two culprits to life imprisonment in the case of murder of a youth in Shankarpur of Rajnandgaon city. The police had arrested 3 accused, including a minor, on murder charges. After hearing the case, the court has given its verdict.
The incident took place at 8.30 pm on September 21. Bhavesh Meshram alias Rimpi (23 years), resident of Shankarpur, was standing in Sharda Chowk. Then, over an old dispute, he was attacked by Harsh Vaishnav alias Bhuru, Ganesh Vaishnav alias Lallu and a minor. First he beat Bhavesh fiercely, then he attacked Bhavesh with sharp weapons and rods. Bhavesh, who became unconscious on the spot, was taken to the Medical College Hospital, but before that he had died.
Chikhli outpost in-charge Chetan Chandrakar, who is investigating the case, arrested the accused Harsh and Ganesh along with the minor. The accused were sent on judicial remand. Whose hearing was going on in the special court. After completion of the hearing, the court sentenced the accused Harsh and Ganesh to life imprisonment.
