Kamal Singh, who had studied country Mahua liquor manufacturing engineering, was doing it with his two colleagues near the forest rest house located in village Sakalo of Gandhinagar police station area. He had seen the process of making local Mahua liquor from YouTube. He had also obtained information about other ingredients added to Mahua from YouTube. It is coming to light that the accused Kamal Singh is a daily wage employee of the Forest Department but this has not been confirmed. The manner in which the accused had started running the country Mahua liquor manufacturing factory near the forest rest house, there is full suspicion that he was also getting the support of some forest employees. In this case, the police have arrested three people including a delinquent child. The accused Kamal Singh (28) and Mohit Singh alias Bhagat (26) are residents of village Kudkel, Ahirpara police station Batauli.
The business of manufacturing country Mahua liquor was being done by them for the last several months. He had spent lakhs of rupees by manufacturing local Mahua liquor. CSP Smriti Rajnala said that the accused Kamal Singh has studied BE from Raipur Engineering College in the year 2018. He has told that he had learned the method of making local Mahua liquor and its decomposition from YouTube. After the business was successful, he also called two boys from the village. 460 liters of Mahua liquor, Rs. 20 thousand in cash, 300 kg of Mahua pass, 800 liters of jaggery pass totaling 1100 kg have been recovered from the accused. He told that the accused used coal to burn the furnace for manufacturing country Mahua liquor.
A large quantity of coal has also been recovered. CSP said that apart from Mahua liquor, 100 kg Mahua pass in a 200 liter container, 200 kg Mahua pass in a 200 liter container, a total of 300 kg Mahua pass, 500 liter jaggery pass in a 500 liter container, 300 liter jaggery pass were recovered from the spot of the incident. Two empty 500 liter water tanks with hua containers, one empty blue container of 300 liters, three empty containers of 200 liters, total six containers, nine nos deck, exhaust fan two nos, measuring instrument two nos, heater two nos. A Tullu pump pipe and other items have been recovered. It was told by the accused that a huge quantity of illegal Mahua liquor was being made by making a furnace in the hut to manufacture illegal Mahua liquor. The child in conflict with the law has been sent to the Child Observation Home under judicial custody. Two accused have been sent on remand.
