Mahabubnagar: Sports enhance physical fitness as well as values like leadership qualities, discipline, punctuality and endurance, said Mahbubnagar MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy. The 2nd edition of the State Level CM Cup-2025 Boxing and Netball Competitions began with a grand opening at the indoor stadium in the district sports ground. On this occasion, the sports torch was lit and the competitions were officially inaugurated.
He said that it is a tool for development. He said that the state-level CM Cup-2025 competitions will be a great platform for young athletes to showcase their talents. He expressed hope that there are immensely talented athletes in rural areas, and if they get proper guidance and encouragement, they can proudly uphold the name of Mahabubnagar district at the national and international levels.
Mayor Gumal Mamatha Srinivasulu, District Library Chairman Mallu Narasimha Reddy, Market Committee Chairman Bekkeri Anitha Madhusudhan Reddy, Corporators Umar Kotwal, CB Sripuji, T.
