Kondagaon. The entire town of Keshkal in Chhattisgarh’s Kondagaon district remained closed today to protest the poor condition of National Highway 30 (NH-30). Local citizens and merchants expressed their anger over the dilapidated condition of the road.

All commercial establishments remained closed since morning. The market was completely closed. Tea shops, hotels, and paan stalls were also closed. Residents said that dust and potholes on the road have made it difficult for people to walk. Demands for road repairs have been going on for months, but due to departmental indifference, no concrete action has been taken.

The dust and mud are troubling both merchants and passersby. Drivers face daily traffic jams and accidents. Locals have demanded the administration to repair the road soon. Updates on this news are continuing.
