Kim Jong Un blames US aggression

Pyongyang: North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has blamed the US for its aggressive stance in attacking Iran. Speaking in parliament on Monday, he defended his country’s nuclear weapons buildup. The country’s media released excerpts of Kim’s speech on Tuesday. Kim said the country was committed to developing all sectors. He said his government had also taken steps in the military and security sectors.

Referring to the ongoing US attacks on Iran, he said that the superpower is violating the rights of sovereign countries. In this context, he said that the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula is necessary for the stability and peace of the region. Kim did not directly mention Trump’s name in his speech. But he accused the US government of carrying out terrorist attacks. He said that it is behaving aggressively around the world. Referring to Trump’s comments that fruitful talks with Iran are taking place, he said that whether it is war or peace, the decision lies in the hands of the US.
