Khammam: RTC conductor dies in road accident

Khammam: A TSRTC bus conductor was killed and five passengers injured when an RTC bus rammed into a stationary oil tanker from behind at Kotha Lankapalli village in Penubali mandal of the district on Sunday. The super luxury bus of Khammam depot was on its way from Vizag to Khammam when the mishap took place. There were around 20 passengers on board the bus. The deceased Sitaram Prasad (50), a resident of Kallur, worked at the Sathupalli depot and had boarded the bus to go home after work. The injured have been admitted to government hospitals in Sathupalli and Penubali for treatment.
