Kergaon police raided Saloni village where illegal raw mahua liquor was being sold.

Dhamtari. The Superintendent of Police (SP) has directed all police stations and outposts to launch a special campaign to curb the illegal liquor trade in the district. Effectively following these instructions, the team from Kergaon Police Station carried out a significant operation and seized a large quantity of illegal country-made raw mahua liquor.

Kergaon Police Station raided a house near the Yadav Samaj Bhawan in Saloni Bhatapara village. The three accused were found illegally storing and selling country-made mahua liquor. Following their arrest, a case was registered at Kergaon Police Station under Crime No. 27/25, Section 34(2) of the Excise Act, and all three accused have been sent to jail on judicial remand.
