Kerala: Two men were arrested with 3.5 kg of ganja (marijuana) at the Walayar Excise check post. At 9:15 AM on Friday, during a vehicle check conducted by Excise Inspector N. Premanand Kumar and his team, Brijesh Ram (36) and Arun Alam (22), both residents of Bihar and passengers on a KSRTC bus traveling from Coimbatore to Ernakulam, were apprehended with the contraband.
The accused were produced in court and remanded to judicial custody. Assistant Excise Inspectors B.J. Sreeji and Rajesh Kumar, Grade Preventive Officers Santosh, Binu, and Satish, and Civil Excise Officer Pradeep participated in the operation.
