Thiruvananthapuram: In an incident that has raised suspicions of exam cheating, a person appearing for the Public Service Commission (PSC) exam ran away during the verification of documents at a school in Poojappura, Kerala.
The incident took place at Poojappura Chinnamma Memorial Girls HSS on Wednesday morning when the Last Grade Servant examination for universities was about to begin.
When the invigilators were conducting the verification process by matching the candidates’ identity cards and their hall tickets, one candidate reportedly got up and ran out of the examination hall.
PSC officials suspect that the person may have appeared on behalf of the genuine candidate and may have fled the class room during verification fearing being caught.
Poojapura police said they will register a case after receiving a written complaint from the PSC.
