Kartik Aaryan visited Siddhivinayak Temple on his birthday

Mumbai: Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan, who turned a year older on November 22nd, was seen visiting the holy temple of Lord Ganesha, known as the Siddhivinayak Temple, in Mumbai.

The birthday boy was seen seeking Ganpati Bappa’s blessings on his special day. Dressed in all white, with a yellow sash from the temple with Ganpati shlokas written in red, Kartik was seen greeting the crowd and fans who had gathered around his car as he headed for the exit.

The actor happily took selfies with his fans, who couldn’t believe their luck at seeing their favorite star. Kartik was later seen thanking the paparazzi who waited in the scorching heat to capture the birthday boy on his special day. Earlier this year, in January, Kartik was seen visiting the Siddhivinayak Temple to seek Bappa’s blessings on the occasion of New Year 2025.

On the professional front, Kartik Aaryan is all set for the release of his upcoming film, Tu Meri Main Tera, Tu Mera Main Teri. The film stars Kartik alongside actress Ananya Panday and is scheduled to release on Christmas Day this year, December 25th. Kartik is currently heavily involved in the film’s promotions with his co-star, Ananya Panday.

2024 was a stellar year for Kartik, with his films Chandu Champion and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 receiving rave reviews from both critics and fans. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, starring Madhuri Dixit, Vidya Balan, and Tripti Dimri, performed well at the box office, while Chandu Champion received a lukewarm response. However, Kartik won a Filmfare Award in the Best Actor category for Chandu Champion. At the time, the actor posted a video on his social media account of him receiving his first Filmfare Best Actor award and penned a heartfelt note. In the video, actor Kartik said, “There are moments in life when you feel like it’s happening in real life, and this one night, I really feel like it’s a dream. The more I talk about that film, the more I talk about you, Kabir sir; it’s not enough. When I first heard the story of Murlikant Petkar’s journey, I heard about a man who never stopped believing in himself.”

He continued, “When others stopped believing in him, I personally felt very good. I don’t know how to put it into words, but that journey was the best of my entire career. It was the best journey of my life. And I give Kabir Sir the credit for the two years we spent together. He is one of the best directors in Indian cinema. And I am very, very lucky to have had the opportunity to work under your direction, Sir. You don’t just create frames; you create worlds. And it means a lot to me to have had this opportunity to work under your direction and with you.” Karthik continued, “And I would also like to thank Sajid Sir as well as Vardha Ma’am, who was like a strong pillar for the film. After such a long time, I think 50 years later, Murlikant Petkar’s story was coming to light. When our film released, she received the Lifetime Arjuna Award.”

He further thanked his parents and said, “My mom and dad are here. And I’m so happy that this moment is happening in front of them. We’ve seen people holding film trophies on TV since we were kids. I think it was the same in my house too. We’ve always dreamed about this moment. And when I became an actor, the first thing I thought about was, ‘When will I get the Best Actor Film trophy?’ And thank you so much for that.”

Thanking Filmfare, Kartik said, “Thank you, Filmfare. Thank you to all the fans who have given me so much love till date. I love you all. I’ve always said that. My godfathers are my fans. And they’ve supported me the most. I just want to say one thing. To all the dreamers, even if you think we can’t make it, this journey isn’t going to end here. I just want to say one thing to you: There’s a champion in all of you. A champion falls, but never stops. Thank you so much.”
