In similar news, Harshil Menaria of Udaipur-based Panera is another name to be included in the 18th Asian Youth Men’s Handball Championship team. According to Kailash Menaria, spokesperson of the Menaria community, Harshil received two silver medals while playing for the Rajasthan team. According to the information given, the game will be played at Princess Sumaya Hall in Amman. It will be organized by the Jordan Handball Federation for the third time. Earlier, the federation hosted the games in 2008 and 2016. Players born after 2004 participate in the Championships. The website further states that these games are qualification events for the 25th IHF Men’s World Youth (U21) Handball Championship to be held in Poland in June/July 2025. The top four teams of this championship will secure their place in the World Championship. The games began in Jordan on July 14 and are expected to run till July 25. Participating countries include Japan, Korea, Oman, India, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and others.
