Karimnagar: British Columbia’s Transport and Welfare Minister, Ponnam Prabhakar, convinced BRS leader and former deputy B Vinod Kumar to file a police complaint, but Vinod Kumar was not involved in the TS Genco labor dispute. A woman, whose surname was similar to that of Vinod Kumar, had allegedly got a job in TS Genco without appearing for the selection test. It was circulated on social networks that the woman was Vinod Kumar’s niece and that she had got the job with the help of a former diptido. Responding to the question, the minister, who organized an event with the deceased pedestrians here on Wednesday, said those incidents will be brought to light and Vinod Kumar will lodge a police complaint regarding the allegations leveled against him. Regarding the project, Kaleshwaram said there was fear among BRS leaders after the watchdog investigation into alleged irregularities in the project. Seeking cooperation from the investigating authorities, he wanted to inform the monitoring authorities if they had any information regarding irregularities in the construction of the Kaleshwaram project. Alleging that state BJP president G Kishan Reddy is trying to save BRS, he said there is an understanding between both the BJP and BRS. Prabhakar also said that he will start an investigation into the incidents of land confiscation in the state.
