Bhopal (IANS). Dr. Narottam Mishra, the Home Minister of the BJP Government of Madhya Pradesh, has attacked the alleged statement given by Priyank Kharge, Minister of the Congress Government of Karnataka and son of Congress Party’s National President Mallikarjun Kharge, regarding cow protectors. He has asked Congress state president Kamal Nath to express his opinion on this statement.
Discussing with reporters in the capital Bhopal, Mishra said, “I am writing a letter to Kamal Nath. Based on the statement of Priyank Kharge. He used to talk about opening a lot of cow shelters, now give your opinion on this. The government has been formed, now the bill has been withdrawn regarding daughters, another Panchayat minister’s statement has come. I want to write a letter to Kamal Nath and ask him about the reprehensible statement made by Priyank Kharge, a minister in the Congress government in Karnataka. Yes, for the Gausevaks and Gaurakshaks, what do you want to say to the Congress Party of Madhya Pradesh and your Congress Party and you being the President of the Congress.”
According to media reports, Priyank Kharge held a meeting with police officers in Kalaburagi district of Karnataka. During this meeting, he reportedly said, “Those who take law into their own hands wearing shawls and saying they belong to these parties should be kicked and put behind bars.” If someone is a self-proclaimed leader and spews venom in the name of communal issues, action should be taken against him. I do not want unnecessary communal riots.
