Kawardha. In the Kawardha District Panchayat President and Vice President elections, BJP has once again captured the chair of President and Vice President. Ishwari Sahu, who left his government job and entered politics just before the assembly elections, has been elected unopposed President. Kailash Chandravanshi, who went to jail along with Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma in the Jhanda Kand, was also elected unopposed Vice President.
It is being said that the BJP has rewarded both of them for their sacrifice and dedicated work towards the party. The special thing is that both are also considered to be the closest to Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma.
