Junior draftsman accused of taking bribe appears in court

Hospice. Junior draftsman Vivek Kumar, who was caught red-handed taking bribe of Rs 12,000 under Fatehpur sub-division, has been sent on police remand for 3 days. State Vigilance and Entry Corruption Bureau Dharamshala presented the accused in the court on Thursday.

Let us tell you that Vivek Kumar, a junior draftsman working outsourced in Subdivision Soil Conservation Department, Fatehpur, had asked for a bribe of Rs 12 thousand in return for releasing a subsidy of Rs 1 lakh 10 thousand. Anil Kumar had lodged a complaint about this in Vigilance.

After this, the Vigilance team caught the accused red handed while taking bribe on Wednesday. On the other hand, SP Vigilance Dharamshala Balbir Singh said that the court has sent the accused on remand for 3 days. Further investigation in the matter is ongoing.
