Journalist threatened, had called illegal occupation as land jihad during reporting

A local journalist has received death threats for calling illegal occupation in the district as land jihad. Bajrang Dal protested against the accused on this. They took out a procession and surrounded the ASP office. They demanded legal action against the accused. chhattisgarh news

Chhattisgarh Bajrang Dal’s department convenor Ravi Nigam said that action was taken to demolish the encroachment done by Karbala Committee in the past. This action was covered by all the media. Pawan Keswani, a journalist from Bhilai, had called this kind of encroachment as land jihad in his news.

He said that people of some particular sect had surrounded the cantonment police station and protested regarding this matter. Along with this, journalist Pawan Keswani was threatened with death. Therefore, a case should be registered against Suhail Ahmed, Mohammad Akram and others who did this and legal action should be taken.
