Reliance Jio, which is India’s largest telecom network provider with around 48 crore subscriber, recently hike the prices of its prepaid and postpaid plans. The prices of the prepaid plans were hiked following the tariff hike.
Now, most of the plans have been changed. With the tariff hike, the cheapest 2GB data plan has been changed to Rs 349.
Jio Rs 349 prepaid recharge plan
The Jio Rs 349 plan comes as part of its Hero Plans. The plan has a validity period of 28 service days. It also offers unlimited calls to any network without any restrictions for the entire duration. The daily data balance offered on the plan is 2GB for the duration of the plan. that means with 28-days validity, the plan provide a total of 56GB data.
Notably, this plan provides access to an unlimited 5G data feature, enabling users to leverage 5G data if available in their area.
This plan is ideal for those seeking greater data benefits within a shorter duration.
The recharge plan also offers additional supplementary perks of complimentary subscription to Jio Cinema for OTT streaming, along with free access to Jio TV and Jio Cloud.
Meanwhile, BSNL has initiated trials for its 5G services in India. The Union Communication Minister, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, recently shared a video on social media demonstrating a video call on a 5G-enabled network. The minister mentioned, “Tried BSNL’s 5G enabled phone call,” in the post. He was at the C-Dot campus to test the BSNL 5G network.
