Jharkhand: At least five people were killed and six others injured in a collision between an auto-rickshaw and a truck in Jharkhand’s Garhwa district. The police released this information on Friday. The accident took place near Palkhe village in Banshidhar Nagar police station area at around 1.30 am on Thursday night. SHO Aditya Nayak said that 12 people from Siliyatongar village reached Nagar Untari railway station by auto rickshaw and boarded a train going to Gujarat.
On the way, their car collided with a truck coming from the front. According to him, the victims have been admitted to Sadar Hospital, where their condition is said to be stable. The deceased have been identified as Bimalesh Kumar Kanaujia (42), Arun Bhuiyan (30), Bikesh Bhuiyan (20), Raja Kumar (21) and Rajkumar Bhuiyan (53).
