Jewelery shop looted, miscreants took away gold chain

Durg. An incident of robbery took place in a jewelery shop located in Moti Complex of the district. A miscreant entered the shop and robbed the shop owner’s gold chain. Hearing the screams of the victim shop operator, the people nearby caught the miscreant, beat him up and recovered the looted chain from him. It is being told that the accused had brought two minor friends to feed biryani. According to the information, Tarachand Kankaria, who runs a jewelery shop in Moti Complex Durg, was sitting at his shop. Meanwhile, accused Raj Soni, resident of Diparapara Durg, reached the shop. The accused threatened the shop operator. Then he started stomping on him and in the meantime he snatched the gold chain from the victim’s neck.

After the incident the accused started running away from the spot. Then the shop owner and his son raised a loud voice. On this the people present nearby ran and caught him. Then the mob beat him severely and after informing the Kotwali police, he handed him over to them.
