Hyderabad: Director Ajay Bhupathi’s upcoming, much-awaited film, starring Telugu star Mahesh Babu’s nephew Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni in the lead role, has been titled “Srinivasa Mangapuram,” its makers announced on Thursday.
Chandamama Kathalu Pictures, the production house behind the film, made the announcement on its X timeline. It read, “Two lives. One journey. Two hands. One promise. Two hearts. One destiny. #AB4 is #SrinivasaMangapuram. Get ready to witness a cult classic that will be a timeless chapter in the world of love stories. Shooting underway. First look and more updates soon. A @DirAjayBhupathi film.”
Director Ajay Bhupathi, on his part, wrote, “My next film – #SrinivasaMangapuram. This love story will remain in your hearts forever. The first look of #AB4 is coming soon.”
For those unaware, Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni – grandson of Superstar Krishna, son of the late Ramesh Babu, and nephew of Superstar Mahesh Babu – is making his acting debut with this film. The film is being directed by Ajay Bhupathi, known for helming blockbusters like ‘RX 100’ and ‘Mangalvaram.’
Until now, this major project, which sources say will be full of emotion, intensity, and authenticity, was being titled #AB4.
The film is being presented by Ashwini Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies and produced by P. Kiran Garu under the Chandamama Kathalu banner.
Interestingly, Ashwini Dutt, who is presenting this film, is the same person who previously produced the cult blockbuster ‘Agni Parvatam’ starring Superstar Krishna and later introduced Mahesh Babu to Telugu cinema with ‘Rajakumarudu.’
The friendship between Ashwini Dutt and superstar Mahesh Babu’s family continues as the renowned producer launches third-generation star Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni in collaboration with Ajay Bhupathi, a filmmaker known for his raw storytelling and emotional depth.
Sources say that after undergoing rigorous training in acting, fight, and dance, Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni is all set for her film debut.
