Srinagar. Srinagar: Anantnag Police on Monday helped a group of Amarnath pilgrims who were struggling to continue their journey due to the altitude. The police personnel ensured the safety and well-being of the ailing yatris (pilgrims) by carrying them on their shoulders. They also carried their luggage, which lightened their burden and enabled them to complete their journey without any hassle.
Besides, Anantnag Police provided medical aid to Mukhtar Ahmad Magrey, a pony bearer of Ainu Brai Aishmuqam, who fainted at Sheshnag. He was initially admitted to Base Hospital Sheshnag, where doctors referred him to NTPHC Hospital Pahalgam for further treatment. Anantnag Police immediately arranged to take him to Pahalgam.
