Jammu Kashmir: Heavy rain and snowfall, weather will remain bad for 24 hours

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir witnessed heavy rain and snowfall on Tuesday. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has predicted bad weather in the valley till March 3. The Meteorological Department said that due to the active western disturbance, there is a possibility of rain and heavy snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir in the next 24 hours. At the same time, there is a possibility of humidity in the weather from 1st to 3rd March. Meanwhile, farmers have also been suggested to stop their agricultural activities till March 3.
Let us tell you that Western Disturbance is an extra tropical storm coming in the Mediterranean Sea or Caspian Sea which causes rain/snow in India, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh. The minimum temperature was 1 degree in Srinagar, minus 6.4 in Gulmarg and minus 1.3 degrees in Pahalgam. The minimum temperature was minus 6.8 in Leh city of Ladakh region, minus 10.4 in Kargil and minus 9.7 degrees in Dras. The minimum temperature was 9.9 in Jammu, 9.5 in Katra, 4.8 in Batote, 3.4 in Bhaderwah and 3.8 degrees in Banihal.
