Jalandhar: Police inspector dies in road accident.

Jalandhar: A police inspector was killed in a bus accident on the Phagwara-Hoshiarpur road on Friday night. According to reports, Nirmaljit, a resident of Lakhpur village, said that while returning home, he saw a man lying injured on the road after being hit by a bus. He immediately took the injured man to the Civil Hospital in Phagwara in his private vehicle, where doctors declared him dead. The deceased has been identified as Inspector Rajwinder Singh, a resident of Khushalpur in Hoshiarpur, who was reportedly posted with the Punjab Armed Police (PAP) in Jalandhar. Doctors at the Civil Hospital confirmed that Rajwinder had already died by the time he arrived.
