Jalandhar: City’s Harsirat Kaur has won the title of Junior Miss India 2025 at the age of 10. The grand finale of the event held at Hotel Marriot in Indore on Sunday was held for 120 participants selected from across the country. She was selected for the title in the age group of 8-10 years. Harsirat is a student of Police DAV Public School and her parents said that they came to know about the event from an Instagram post a few months ago and hence they started preparing for it. The online and offline sessions for the event were organised by the Junior Miss India team in Indore under the guidance of Noyonita Lodh, Miss Diva University 2014. Her father Guriqbal Singh, who works as deputy manager of operations at HDFC Ergo Insurance, said, “Our daughter showed a lot of enthusiasm in all the stages of the event, even till the finale. The auditions were held in Ludhiana in August. The grand finale had three rounds – culture round, western round and gown round. In the culture round, Harsirat gave a very good speech on her state Punjab. The other two rounds were ramp walk.” Harsirat’s mother Neelu, who is an assistant professor at CT Group of Institutions, said, “After her success, our daughter has started nurturing a dream of winning the Miss Universe crown at the age of 18.”
