Jalandhar: 2 missing girls found in Kathua

Jalandhar: Jalandhar Commissionerate Police has recovered two minor girls who had gone missing a few days ago. Police Commissioner (CP) Dhanpreet Kaur informed that FIR No. 281 was registered under Section 137(2) of the IPC at Division No. 8 Police Station on November 22, after the two minor girls aged 14 and 16 went missing while returning from school.
The CP said that the police team of Division No. 8 Police Station, led by ADCP-1 and ACP (North), immediately raided several suspected locations. During the raid in Kathua, the police team recovered both the minor girls and apprehended two accused involved in the incident. Further investigation into the case has been initiated.
