Jal-Jungle Yatra organized in Latadadar Circle of Kothari Forest Range

Baloda Bazar. As directed by Divisional Forest Officer Ganveer Dhammasheel, a Jal-Jungle Yatra program was organized on Friday in the Latadar Circle of Kothari Forest Range. The program was conducted by Forest Range Officer Kothari Jeevan Lal Sahu and trainee Forest Range Officer Diksha Pandey.

In this special program organized as part of the Seva Parv, students from the Primary School and Pre-Secondary School, Padadah, and the Primary School, Mudpar, were made aware of the importance and conservation of forests. They were given detailed information about identifying various tree and plant species, conserving natural resources, and addressing challenges such as water scarcity and plastic pollution. The importance of forest and wildlife conservation was also discussed. Students were encouraged to play an active role in environmental conservation to ensure a safe and green future for future generations.

Tree-planting and dialogue programs were organized at the Government Higher Secondary School, Kosamsara, and the Government Primary School, Podi. This program was conducted under the leadership of Range Officer Sonakhan Sunit Sahu and Trainee Forest Range Officer Aastha Yadav. A large number of students, teachers, local public representatives, women from self-help groups, and members of the Forest Management Committee participated at both sites. The Sarpanch, Deputy Sarpanch, Panchayat members, teachers, and students were present on this occasion.
