Telangana: The annual Jagannath Swamy Rathotsav at Banjara Hills Road No. 12 is scheduled to take place on the 7th of this month. The event marks the day when the Swami went into exile and returned to the temple on the 15th of this month. Devotees are eagerly waiting for the occasion, with the festivities scheduled to begin from the 17th of this month. The temple organisers have put in a lot of effort to prepare for this important event. The chariots carrying Jagannath, Subhadra Devi and Bhalabhadru have been meticulously decorated for the ceremony. Just like in Puri, the chariots will be cleaned with brooms made of gold, adding to the grandeur of the occasion. With large crowds expected to attend the ceremony, the traffic police have been tasked with identifying vacant spaces for parking. This will help ensure that devotees can easily reach the temple and participate in the festivities without any inconvenience. The Banjara Hills Rath Yatra has become a beloved tradition, with devotees coming from far and wide to pay homage to Lord Jagannath. With grand decorations, traditional rituals and fervent devotion, the event promises to be a memorable and auspicious occasion for all those present.
