ITI inaugurated in Swarghat

Swarghat. State Government Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani inaugurated ITI at Swarghat in Shri Nayana Devi Assembly constituency on Sunday. He said that for a long time this ITI was being run in a private building, due to which children were not getting a good educational environment. Rs 6 crore 50 lakh is to be spent on the complete construction of this ITI building.

The ITI building is to be built with four storeys, out of which two floors are completely ready, which will house educational activities and an amount of Rs 3 crore has been sanctioned by the Himachal Government for the construction of the other two floors. Currently, two trades of Electronic Mechanic and Tailoring are being run under ITI and on the request of the residents of the area, it was announced to run the trade of Pump Operator. On the request of former minister Thakur Ramlal, he also announced to run other short term training courses under Skill Development Corporation in this ITI.

He said that there will be no let-up in development in Shri Nayana Devi Assembly constituency. Approval of Rs 2 crore 92 lakh has been given for the repair of old roads in the assembly constituency. Under this assembly constituency, the state government has sanctioned Rs 58 crore for the maintenance of four lanes, railway lines and roads damaged due to the disaster caused by heavy rains.

Rajesh Dharmani said that Governor Hospital under Shri Nayana Devi Assembly Constituency will be established as a model health institution, under which five specialist doctors will provide their services. This model health institution will be provided with laboratory testing experts, medical staff and latest state-of-the-art M-Readers, CT Scan, Ultrasound and Digital X-Ray, physicians. On this occasion, former minister Thakur Ramlal, District Congress President Anjana Dhiman, Technical Education Director Akshay Sood etc. were present.
