Beirut: Hezbollah leader Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah has said that Israel will not be able to eliminate Hamas even after the attack on Rafah. This information was given by a local media outlet. In a televised speech on Wednesday, Nasrallah said Israel has so far failed in its objectives since the attack on Gaza. He said Israel will not be able to eliminate Hamas even by conducting a ground attack on Rafah. Hamas’ resistance will continue. Nasrallah spoke of solidarity with Hamas.
Nasrallah said that Israel has failed to eliminate Hamas. Local TV channel Al-Manar reported that after nearly six months of war, Israel is negotiating with Hamas through mediators. He claimed that Hamas was negotiating on behalf of all Palestinian factions, and that the aim was not just a ceasefire, but a halt to Israeli attacks on Gaza. It is noteworthy that tension increased on the Lebanon-Israel border on October 8 last year, when the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah fired dozens of rockets towards Israel in support of Hamas’ attack on Israel. In response, Israel also shelled south-eastern Lebanon.
