ISL: FC Goa head coach Manolo Marquez said this

Guwahati: FC Goa head coach Manolo Marquez said he is learning something new every day in training with his team.
FC Goa will take on NorthEast United in the Indian Super League (ISL) at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati on Friday.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Marquez said that his experience with FC Goa has been very good.

“Right now, it is a big thing for me that I am getting to learn so much. Great learning experience. Every day I am learning something new in training from other goalkeepers and coaches. I need match time but for now, ISL’s official website quoted Marquez as saying, “There is a lot of competition, so accordingly, it will come step by step.”

Talking about Victor Rodriguez, the head coach praised him and said that he was one of the best players for him.
“He, for me, is one of the top players in the ISL because he is probably one of our best players, if not the best. And (if) we are on top it means obviously he is a top player and was in very good condition.” , very nice moment. he is very clever. He understands the game, not many players understand what to do in every situation.

And I have known him for a long time. I was his coach for two seasons 12 years ago. And the worst thing in a player’s career is injuries.”

He said that Rodriguez’s injury will affect him and it will not be easy for his team. “It is difficult because sometimes it is not easy to find a player in the middle of the season because of players who are not playing or vacant players. It is not easy because we also know the quality of Victor. Sometimes you are thinking about too many things,” she added.

The Gaurs are in tremendous form at the moment and are unbeaten in their last five matches. They are coming into the game after defeating Mohun Bagan SG 4-1 in their last match. FC Goa are second in the ISL standings with 23 points after winning seven of their nine league matches.
