TEHRAN: Iran has called on the international community to take action to stop Israel’s “genocide” against Palestinians in Gaza. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani made the above call in a post on social media platform X on Thursday. Kanani said, “Israel’s genocide against Palestinians has now been confirmed by the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC). Now governments and international organizations around the world have to fulfill their duties.” The Gaza-based Health Ministry said on Thursday that 32,552 Palestinians have been killed and more than 74,980 wounded in the Gaza Strip since Israel launched attacks against Hamas on October 7 last year.
