New Delhi. Neena Singh, a 1989 batch IPS officer of Rajasthan cadre, has been appointed as the chief of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), and has been given additional charge. He is currently working on the post of Special Director General in CISF. According to the order of the Home Ministry, in view of the retirement of CISF chief Sheel Vardhan Singh, he has been given the additional charge of CISF Director General.
Neena Singh is currently posted as Special Director General (DG) at the headquarters of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in Delhi. Sheel Vardhan Singh, a 1986 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of Bihar cadre, was appointed CISF DG in November 2021. The Center has appointed 1988-batch IPS officer Anish Dayal Singh as the Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force until his retirement on December 31, 2024, or until further orders, the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions said. Apart from this, the Center has appointed 1989-batch IPS officer Rahul Rasgotra as Director General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police till his superannuation date of September 30, 2025 or until further orders.
