The iPhone 16 is all set to be launch in the later part of this year. However, before the launch, some leaks already provided insights into what one can expect from the upcoming lineup. Apple is likely to unveil four models including iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Meanwhile, improvement is expected in the areas such as chipset, camera and battery. It is expected that Apple might offer support for faster charging speeds, but, of course there won’t be chargers in the retail box.
Leaks suggest that this upcoming lineup can have a new Capture button, for swiftly capturing videos. This button is said to use haptic feedback technology, providing users with a tactile response upon touch.
Additionally, it is rumoured that an Action button may be introduced to standard models, alongside a continuation of the punch-hole design and the presence of a USB Type-C port across all models.
According to leaks, the iPhone 16 Pro is said to have a larger 6.3-inch display, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max may boast a massive 6.9-inch screen. On the other hand, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are said to maintain 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch display sizes respectively.
The iPhone 16 Pro series is expected to be powered by the advanced A18 Pro chipsets. Meanwhile, there are speculations about the integration of grapheme into the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max to improve dissipation.
The 2024 iPhones will operate on the upcoming 18 version. Its next OS is rumoured to feature a VisionOS-like design with rounded icons and integrated generative AI. Additionally, the leaks suggest that stock mail and notes apps could get AI-powered features for automatic content summarisation and translation.
