Jaivardhan held a meeting of the firecracker businessmen of the district in the meeting hall of the district office and informed about the instructions issued regarding the sale of firecrackers. The collector told the firecracker businessmen to do the business of firecrackers by following the prescribed procedure for environmental protection. Giving information about the guidelines issued by the government in the direction of environmental protection, he said that it is necessary to make necessary security arrangements. He further said that any small negligence can cause a big accident. Keeping this in mind, we will make strong arrangements for all types of security. Giving necessary instructions, he said that strong security arrangements are being made by the district administration, along with this, it will be necessary for all firecracker businessmen to make security arrangements at every level.
It was told in the meeting that shops for firecracker business can be set up only at the place allotted by the district administration. The shop can be operated for the stipulated time as per the terms of the license. It was also told in the meeting that crackers can be sold only as per the license given for the cracker business. Shops cannot be operated in residential areas.
It will be necessary to ensure safety and protection of life and property through cracker business. Business of banned crackers cannot be done. Cracker business can be done by following the guidelines issued for environmental protection. We will ensure that crackers are not used for illegal activities.
