Jashpur. An uncle brutally murdered his three-year-old innocent niece. The accused beheaded the girl and sacrificed her and threw the body in the stove. After this horrific incident, there has been a sensation in the entire village. The police have arrested the accused uncle and the body has been handed over to the family after post-mortem.
The accused in the incident has been identified as Ramprasad Nag (35 years), a resident of Chhatasarai Panchayat. He beheaded his younger brother Rajaram Nag’s three-year-old daughter Khushi and sacrificed her. It is being told that the accused was not in a good mental state and he was already having a dispute with his brother. However, in the village, this incident is also being linked to tantra-mantra and superstition. Villagers say that the accused must have come in contact with a tantrik or a person practicing black magic, who instigated him to perform human sacrifice.
As soon as the incident was reported, the Baghbahar police reached the spot and arrested the accused. The police has taken the body in its custody and started investigating the case. It is being told that after the murder, the accused had started doing tantra-mantra by placing the severed head of the girl on the puja stove in the house. Not only this, on the day of the incident, he was also searching for his children. It is suspected that he was planning to sacrifice his own children as well.
