Gaza: We have more information for you about the 40 far-right young Israelis who tried to sneak into Gaza through the Beit Hanoun crossing, known to Israelis as the Erez crossing. Israeli media outlets said the group was trying to hold a Jewish prayer service in Gaza and its members were taken for questioning by Israeli security forces. The unidentified group released a statement explaining its intentions, as reported by Israeli public media outlet Kan. “We had the honor of participating in the attempt to hold Shacharit prayers inside the Gaza Strip, with the conviction that Gaza is part of the great Land of Israel and from the clear understanding that only compromise can be considered victory,” the statement reads. “And only a Jewish Gaza will overcome the rocket threat, bring back hostages from Gaza, and bring security to the entire south and the country,” it continued.
