Dehradun (IANS) | Influenza variant H3N2 has been confirmed in a patient from Dehradun, along with which more than 15 cases of this variant have been reported so far. Influenza variant H3N2 has been confirmed in a 35-year-old patient admitted to Doon Medical College Hospital. This patient is admitted here for the last one week.
The patient is admitted under the supervision of TB and Chest Specialist Dr. Anurag Agarwal. Its report has come positive two days ago.
According to Principal (Dean) Dr. Ashutosh Sayana, the condition of the patient is normal. They say it is seasonal influenza. And there is nothing to worry about. On the other hand, sources said that more than 150 samples have been tested in the lab of Doon Medical College in the last three months. Out of these, more than 15 cases have come positive. Everyone has gone home after recovering.
