Indore: Reward announced on two absconding accused involved in drug trade

Madhya Pradesh: The Narcotics Wing of the state police has announced a reward for the arrest of two absconding accused involved in the illegal trade of hashish and MD drugs.

DIG (Narcotics Wing) Mahesh Chand Jain has announced a reward of Rs 10,000 for absconding accused Laden Khan, a resident of Runija in Mandsaur district, and Rs 5,000 for Faizan Khan of the city’s Chhoti Khajrani area.

According to officials, on October 21, 2023, acting on a tip-off, Inspector Varsingh Khadia raided the Polo Ground and arrested Sujal Kale with 150 grams of hashish worth approximately Rs 1.5 lakh. A case was registered under the NDPS Act. During the investigation, it was found that the seized hashish was supplied by Faizan Khan, who has been absconding since the incident. In another case, information revealed that Rehan Sheikh, from Dung district, Rajasthan, was supplying MD and was arriving at Sarwate Bus Stand to deliver a consignment on October 18th. Sub-Inspector Ajay Sharma’s team raided a railway underbridge and arrested Rehan with 65 grams of MD, valued at approximately ₹6.5 lakh. He was booked under the NDPS Act. Investigation revealed that the MD was obtained from Laden Khan, who has since been absconding.
