Indore: Now farmers will get fertilizer through e-token

Madhya Pradesh: To ensure easy, convenient, and real-time transparency in the distribution of fertilizers to farmers, they will be provided fertilizers through an e-token system, supported by the e-development system.

A training program was organized under the chairmanship of Agriculture Production Commissioner Ashok Varnwal. The training program was attended by the division’s Joint Director of Agriculture, all Deputy Directors of Agriculture, the Regional Manager of Markfed, the Regional Manager of MP Agro, the District Marketing Officer, the Chief Executive Officer of the District Cooperative Central Bank, the Senior Agricultural Development Officer, managers of cooperative societies, marketing committees, and marketing federation warehouse in-charges and operators.

During the program, detailed training and discussions were held on the technical aspects of the e-token system, supply chain management, and methods to ensure transparency.

CL Kevada, Deputy Director of the Department of Farmers Welfare and Agricultural Development, said that the government is implementing the system of e-token and fertilizer distribution to provide fertilizer to the farmers on time and with transparency.
