Raipur. The foundation stone of the country’s first Artificial Intelligence based Data Center Park was laid today by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai in Sector-22 of Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh. This data center park is being developed in an area of 13.5 acres, out of which 2.7 hectares will be developed as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ). This project operated by Rack Bank Data Centers Private Limited will be completely dedicated to AI services. Starting from 5 MW capacity in the first phase, it will be expanded to 150 MW. In future, additional investment of about Rs 2000 crore is possible in this project. Keeping in mind environmental protection, this data center has been designed in accordance with green and energy efficient technology.

Not only storage and processing facilities will be available from here, but state-of-the-art services will also be provided in areas like Artificial Intelligence (AI), HealthTech, Defense, FinTech and Data Analytics. The park will have world-class facilities like GPU-based high-end computing infrastructure, recording, live data streaming, and AI processing. About 500 direct and 1500 indirect employment opportunities will be created through this project. The special thing is that local youth will be given priority in this, due to which Chhattisgarh will not only become a leader in the technical field but will also open new possibilities for the youth. Through this center, global level services like GPU based high-end computing, live data streaming, AI processing and data analytics will be available under one roof. Its effect will be seen in the form of major changes in healthtech, fintech, smart agriculture and defense sector.
