Washington: An Indian man living in the US has committed atrocities. He shot and killed his wife and three relatives due to a family dispute. Three children from both families were hiding in a cupboard in panic. (Indian man shoots wife, relatives) This incident took place in the US state of Georgia. 51-year-old Vijay Kumar lives in Atlanta with his 43-year-old wife Meemu Dogra and their 12-year-old child. There was a fight between the husband and wife in their house.
Meanwhile, on Friday, Vijay Kumar along with his family went to his relatives’ house in Brook Ivy Court in a car. There, a further argument broke out with his wife and relatives. In this context, he shot dead his wife Meemu and relatives Gaurav Kumar, 33, Nidhi Chander, 37, and Harish Chander, 38, with a gun.
On the other hand, Vijay Kumar’s child and two children from his family were terrified by the shooting. Fearing for their lives, they hid in a cupboard in the house. After Vijay Kumar’s child called 911, the police immediately reached the house. They realized that his wife and three relatives had died in the shooting.
Meanwhile, Vijay Kumar, who tried to flee from there, was arrested by the US police. A case has been registered against him under serious criminal charges such as murder. The Consulate General of India in Atlanta expressed deep shock over the incident. It said that it is providing all possible assistance to the victim’s family.
