India is giving ration to 80 crores for free, the food grains are lying in Pakistan: Chief Minister

Kaushambi (IANS) | UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that on the one hand, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has been giving free ration to more than 80 crore people for the last three years, while in Pakistan there is a glut of bread.

CM Yogi along with Union Home Minister Amit Shah participated in the inauguration program of Kaushambi Mahotsav-2023 on Friday. During this, several projects were inaugurated and the foundation stone was laid. Along with this, many players associated with the Parliament Sports Competition were also honored. He said that today the world is looking towards India for how the governments should be run. He said that today all Indians are getting the benefit of the development plan without any discrimination. The country is scaling new heights of prosperity. Along with this, work is also being done to create the best security environment in the country.

Addressing the program, CM Yogi said that Uttar Pradesh is moving towards a new height under the inspiration of Prime Minister Modi and the guidance of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Today the state is making progress in many fields, a new picture of which is in front of all of us.

Congratulating the residents of the district on the festival, CM Yogi said that Kaushambi has been one of the 16 Mahajanapadas associated with the Buddhist tradition. Even in the Ramayana period, Lord Shriram had rested in this district for one night while going to the forest. Along with historical and mythological tradition, this district has also been associated with the tradition of Shakti Peeth. The abode of Maa Sheetla located here attracts every Indian. He said that the youth of the state are getting a chance to move forward in the field of sports with the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Yogi said that the double engine government has decided that there will be a playground in every village and a mini stadium in every block. Along with this, we are also getting a stadium constructed at the district level, the work of which has started on a war footing. He said that in order to realize the dream of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, every gram panchayat, every municipal body and every district should celebrate its foundation day.

Said that we are committed to take the benefits of every development project to the residents of Kaushambi. Ganga Expressway is passing through this district. With its construction, the distance from Meerut to Prayagraj will be completed in less than eight hours. Preparations have started for the Prayagraj Mahakumbh to be held in 2025. For this, all the districts belonging to Prayagraj Mandal should get ready and join it.

In the program, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and CM Yogi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several projects. Which is connected to Kaushambi and its surrounding districts. A total of 117 development projects worth more than Rs 612 crore were inaugurated and the foundation stone laid during the festival.

Emerging players of the district were also honored on the stage of Kaushambi Mahotsav. Home Minister Shah and Chief Minister Yogi felicitated 10 boys and girls associated with Khokho, volleyball, 100 meter race and other sports by calling them on stage.
